Secret Process

1. O Father, bless my volunteers
Who help me to read and write
To promote the Daisy Movement
On the electronic highway.

2. O Father, they are necessary
To bring forward all our projects
As the paddles of my boat,
As the wheels of my bicycle.

3. O Father, I need these “eyes” of mine
To copy these hand written lines,
To transfer on the computer
And besides to print them out.

4. O Father, better than I you know:
This is a long and difficult task
To write in three languages
What your Spirit inspires to me.

5. O Father, in your hands I am
An imperfect instrument
While trying to obey your leading
My resistance I clearly feel.

6. O Father,
I do not see where you are leading me.
I do not know the end or plan.
I just begin and follow on.

7. O Father, you know that I ignore
When I write by inspiration
Both the subject and the length,
Which I discover at the end.

8. O father, this is the way it works:
Priority so clearly goes
To your Spirit working in me.
I wish to be obedient.

9. O Father, without any doubt
My volunteers are a great part.
Without their help all would be lost.
My gratefulness goes out to them.

10. O Father, your inspiration guides me,
And I always follow its leading.
All my capacities I use
But I admit my limitations.

11. O Father, you have clearly taught to me
To listen to your Holy Spirit.
Sometimes I think I know a point.
But soon discover it is quite other.

12. O father, I go from point to point.
You alone know the road
And the goal to which it leads.
And my task is but to follow.

13. O Father, sometimes I think
That a poem’s end is reached.
Comes a new development
Which was unforeseen by me

14. O Father, do you prepare again
A new surprise for me today?
In this way you honor me
I like with you to work together.

15. O Father, this process is known
Yet rarely is recognised
And thus remains for us unknown,
Hidden treasure to our minds.

16. O Father, who will be the knight
Not afraid to search the grail?
Who dares to fight the darkest night
Is the man who shall prevail.

17. O Father, so special a gift
Is a grace of love from you.
And like any other gift
Needs your help both great and true.

18. O Father, I am just your servant.
I give you thanks for all I do
To sanctify always your priests
And enhance your holy church.
