LETTER TO PRIESTS

Dear Fellow Priest:

 

The Daisy Movement has reached its 28th year of existence. At my invitation in 2006, many priests have expressed their appreciation toward the foundress, Mrs. Louise Ward: 12 Bishops and 156 priests have replied; besides, 43 priests have made a financial contribution without including a message.  As a sign of my gratitude and to continue our action for the movement, I hereby send you a “Prayer for the Growth and the Spreading of the Daisy Movement”, a prayer which some Petals have asked me to write. Isn’t this a fine occasion to share this prayer with the Petals (members) of your Daisy? You can download it in six (6) langages from the Internet. In English and French it is also printed in a 40-page booklet. It is free. However, any donation to help us pay for the printing and distribution costs would be gratefully accepted.  You can order the booklet from me. It will be send out according to available funds.

 The ideas and principles of the Daisy Movement (Adopt A Priest Program), which exists over 27 years, resemble much those of a recently issued document by the Congregation of the Clergy entitled Adoration for Priests (December 8, 2007), without always using the same language; see
