1. The Daisy Movement surely
Is so discreet, much too discreet.
Are we afraid of our convictions?
Let us say for whom we pray.
2. I am proud and greatly honoured
To pray for my adopted priest.
I share in his priestly acts
And so I tell to all my friends.
3. Laity and priests unite
In the Church and in the Kingdom.
I’m a Petal and Promotor
Of the Daisy Movement surely.
4. For it is an essential service.
We priests do have our daily profit.
For seven Petals, one per day,
Offer up for us their prayers.
5. I pray for my Petals in return.
For together we stand stronger.
I am a Priest and a Promotor
Of the Daisy Movement too.
6. Don’t keep it a hidden secret:
For to pray and to be prayed for
Is a very special grace.
Be proud, stand up, be a Promotor.
7. What is next best to being a Petal?
It is to form another Daisy,
It is to encourage someone to pray
For a Priest—just like you do.
8. Praying as a Petal for a Priest
Or inviting someone to do the same,
In God’s eyes, have the same value;
Both obtain the same good merits.
X9. It’s time to leave our hiding place,
To open the cocoon of caterpillar,
And to all display the splendour
Of the butterfly Promotor.
X10. For Church and God let us go on,
The priests indeed are our best leaders,
Who, with the Holy Spirit of God,
Are ready to transform mankind.
X11. So be Petal or Promotor
Of the Daisy Movement now,
Serving Jesus Pantocrator
With the Holy Spirit’s power.
